If you would like to help your child continue learning at home, we would recommend the following ideas and resources. In order to provide plenty of choice, we are offering a range of resources from which to choose. Anything that is specifically for your child's year group will be appropriate for them to do, so please choose things that you think they would enjoy or find useful.
Please make regular use of the English and maths resources, as well as encouraging lots of reading. You may wish to refer to the topic maps on the class pages to find our more about this term's learning in each class, but you are welcome to choose any resources on other topics too.
The ideas on this page and on the class pages should help to keep children busy until the Easter holidays. The BBC and other website providers are making more and more free content available to support children and families with home learning, so please browse and use anything you think your child might enjoy. We are currently preparing more structured learning which will be available through our website after Easter, and we will let you know more about this nearer the time.
The Twinkl website is offering free access for parents to its full website and has lots of great resources for all year groups. You will need to log in using the code UKTWINKLHELPS. You will then be able to set up your own log in. Alternatively, you should be able to access a number of resources through the Twinkl parent hub without creating a log in. As well as interactive activities, there are worksheets and books that can be downloaded and printed for off-line learning.
In addition, please encourage your child to read as much as possible, and share books with your child whenever you can.
