  • Monday 11th December (during school hours)

  • 5 Gifts for £10 (funds in a labelled purse please)

  • Brand new selection of gifts

Shhh... back by popular demand, this year's Shhh...op will have a brand new selection of gifts for your child to surprise you and your family with on Christmas Day.

But remember, this is a secret so that the children at Semley School can enjoy a Christmas shopping experience of their very own.

On Monday 11th December there will be an Enchanted Grotto in school: a secret Shhh...op selling a choice of quality, boutique presents – all for just £2 each.

Your children will be able to visit our magical Shhh...op to choose and buy their own presents for the special people in their lives. Parents, Grandparents, Uncles, Aunties, siblings and family friends… there will be something for everyone.

Gifts will be wrapped and labelled so your children's purchases can remain a secret until Christmas Day but we promise you won't be disappointed.

For the first time, the Christmas Shh...op has attracted local sponsorship and donations! This means a lot more of the money raised will go towards educational extras that otherwise the school would not be able to afford. We would particularly like to thank Robert Todd at Wessex Hoof Care and Aron McDouall of Bridgewood.

To help your children get the most out of this unique and special Christmas experience, we ask that you help them think about who they might want to buy gifts for and make sure that they have the funds to buy their presents. A letter with a shopping list attached is in your child's book bag.

Don't forget, just £10 will buy 5 lovely gifts.

Film Night - Arthur Christmas

Thank you to everyone who supported Film Night last Friday - you raised an amazing £330!

Second-hand Uniform

Thank you for your second-hand uniform donations.  We sell all second-hand uniform that carries the Semley School emblem (sweatshirts, PE t-shirts, caps, fleeces), summer dresses and school ties. Due to storage space restrictions we are unable to sell or accept donations of grey skirts/trousers etc. or white shirts.

Please hand donations to the school office, and if you have any uniform requirements the school office will pass your request on to FOSS.

Textile Recycling

Don't forget - any unwanted clothing can be placed in the Textile Recycling Bin next to the big gate, and all the funds go towards the school.

FOSS Parent Contact List

The Final FOSS Parent Contact List was emailed to parents in October.  (This list is made available by FOSS so that parents can contact one another about school related matters).  If you didn't receive a copy or would like to amend your details, please fill out a form available from the office, and leave it in the FOSS box in reception.
