We are looking for a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to support one of our KS2 classes.
Semley School, is a vibrant and welcoming village primary school in a beautiful setting near Shaftesbury on the Dorset / Wiltshire border, and graded as ‘good’ by Ofsted (Jan 2018). We are very proud of our well-behaved children who enjoy learning and love a challenge.
The successful candidate will be confident in supporting the upper Key Stage 2 curriculum - mostly Maths and English within the classroom, with some occasional 1-to-1 or small group intervention.
The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting learning in a primary school, and will be adaptable, patient and enjoy working as part of a team. The post also includes MDSA duties for 3 lunchtimes.
