Happy New Year Wrens!

I do hope you all had a wonderful Christmas break and enjoyed lots of festivities.

I am so very sorry that we I haven't been able to welcome you back into school today and hearing all about your holidays and exciting Christmas presents too. I have missed you over the last two weeks and am disappointed that we wont be able to catch up.

However, I have been very busy planning lots of fun and exciting activities for you to have a go at from home. There are some videos to watch and activities to complete. Please be sure to send me some work that you have done as I always love to see you work and I am excited to see how you get on with the work I have planned for you.

I am also hoping to read you some nice stories on here every Friday too so keep tuned for those. I will be in school while you are learning at home so please send me an email if you get a chance to tell me what you have been doing.

I have written your parents a letter explaining what you need to do and everything you need to know about learning at home for the next two weeks.

All you need to do is try your best and we will all be very proud of you and you will be proud of yourselves. You are all amazing at what you do and remember that you are all brilliant at learning!!

Good luck and I cannot wait to hear from you.

Very much love,

Mrs Rayner xx

Welcome to Wrens!

We are the reception class at Semley school and are always very busy.

This term we are learning the routines of school and settling in to the classroom and spending time getting to know each other.

Throughout the term we will be studying how we are all different where we will use Elmer stories to support us with this and then moving on to look at the celebration of The Harvest and what it means.

Please take a look at our photos to see what we have been up to. Keep and eye on this page for more to come.
