Wrens went on a winter walk this morning. We spotted signs of Winter and made a spiral in the frost on the sports pitch!

Our First Day in Wrens
Meet Wednesday, Sunshine and Elton!
We had an amazing science circus skills workshop today with Jeb the circus scientist!
Mrs Isgar brought in her candler today. A candler is a special light that allows us to see how the chicks are developing inside the egg. The Wrens have looked after the eggs so well that all of them seem to be developing well. Next week we may have chicks as well as Wrens in our classroom!
We are very eggscited to be looking after hens eggs in our classroom. Many thanks to Mr and Mrs Isgar who brought in the incubator and taught us how to look after the eggs. We will keep you posted on their progress!!
We spotted many signs of spring on our Spring Walk around school.

We found lots of interesting things on our Autumn Walk.
We have been thinking about weight this week and made some balance cakes. We made the scales balance with flour, then sugar and then butter all against the weight of an egg!

We ran a marathon to support Mrs Rumney. Good luck this weekend in the London Marathon this weekend Mrs Rumney!
