NEW OUTDOOR CLASSROOM!
Wrens are delighted that the roof to the outdoor classroom has now been completed and we were able to set up with all of our favourite outside activities.
We have been using it to its full potential this week enjoying the building site and the dolls house as well as the mud kitchen and water tray. There have also been a lot of performances on the stage too!
Welcome back after Easter, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.
This week in Wrens has been rather peculiar! We have been trying to work out where a mysterious egg has come from and predicting what might be coming out!! After a long discussion about animals that lay eggs we came up with our own conclusions; snake, bird, tortoise, crocodile or dinosaur!
The egg has hatched and to our surprise it is an artificial dinosaur.
Therefore we have been and will be researching further into animal life cycles and dinosaurs.
Our new outside classroom is taking shape and we will soon have an all weather roof which is super exciting.
We also started our sports day training this week!
Please take a look at the photos to see our exciting week.
This week we have been watching the tadpoles grow even bigger in our small aquarium. We even had a visit from an adult toad, which Mrs. Rayner was delighted about!
We have been enjoying learning about spring and the signs we can see around us showing that the earth is slowly warming up.
We have been decorating bunny biscuits this week as we learn about addition and combining numbers to increase amounts.
The Wrens have enjoyed learning poems and songs that remind us of Spring and Easter. Ask them to share them with you.
What an amazing feeling to be back at school!
We have had a most enjoyable week, catching up with each other and having lots of fun with our new activities based on spring and Easter.
Thank you to all the parents who have done an exceptional job with home learning, it really shows how much hard work you have put in and most importantly, your children were happy and delighted to come back to school and begin their learning journey once again.
Good evening lovely Wrens.
Welcome to Mrs. Rayner's bedtime story on world book day
I hope you have had a wonderful day and managed to do some fun book day activities.
I would just like to say how very proud I am of all of you. It has been a very strange and tiring time but you have shown me that you are resilient, strong and most of all hard working. You should be so proud of yourselves for keeping up with the tasks that I set you even when you felt a little frustrated. Thank you and I really cannot wait to see you all on Monday where we have so much catching up to do!
See you on Monday.
All my very much love,
Mrs. Proud Rayner. xx

Good morning Wrens!
I do hope that you all had a wonderful half term break and were able to have some time to do fun things as well as have a good rest.
I am sorry that we cannot be saying hello in the classroom but hopefully we might be able to soon.
Welcome to BLOCK D. Everything you need to know is listed below as normal. Please use the timetable as best you can to help you decide which lessons you can fit in around working hours.
There are some supporting activities as usual too that I thought would be useful if you would like to do more than the Oak Academy lessons.
All I ask is that you try your best with whatever you choose to have a go at.
Sending you all very much love,
